The development of the UC Center Sacramento serves to create a place for educating UC students – California’s future leaders – in the craft of politics and policymaking, while making the expertise of faculty from the nation’s leading university system available to decision-makers in the legislative and executive branches of government.

To better serve UC Davis faculty and staff, UC Davis Health will deliver a centrally located, outpatient care medical office building on the UC Davis campus.

The runway at the University Airport, the only campus airport in the UC system, received significant improvements, in line with Federal Aviation Administration standards.

Renovate approximately 6,600 square feet of Med Sci 1B (the old Scrubs space), now vacant, to include three additional VMTH operating rooms to provide additional capacity for orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.

When this renewal is complete, it will house our new Graduate Center – a multidisciplinary learning environment with designated spaces, services and programming to enhance the graduate student and postdoctoral scholar experience at UC Davis.

A companion project to the Walker Hall renovations, this site improvements project extends and connects the pedestrian pathways from the Student Community Center to the Shields Library.

Nine classrooms in the Wellman Hall basement will be renovated as part of the ongoing General Assignment Classroom renovation program. Renovations include re-sizing classrooms, upgrading technology and Wi-Fi, and adding new furniture.

Renovations to labs in Wickson Hall and the Animal Resources Service, or ARS, J1 building support research displaced by the large-scale AB94 Seismic Improvement project.

The UC Davis Wolfskill Experimental Orchards is a valuable research resource utilized by the Department of Plant Sciences for plant breeding, germplasm evaluation, and horticultural and physiological studies. To support the research orchard, a new irrigation well has been constructed to replace an aging well and provide a reliable water supply for the site.
