Chemistry Addition and 1st Floor Renovations

The addition will include new research laboratories, a multi-disciplinary team laboratory, upper-division teaching laboratories, research laboratory support, office space for faculty and graduate student researchers and shared collaboration spaces.

Coffee Center

Constructed in 2008, the Advanced Materials Research Laboratory now serves as the home of the UC Davis Coffee Center, the world’s first academic research and teaching facility entirely dedicated to the study of coffee.

Grapevine Greenhouse

This new 14,400-square-foot greenhouse will protect an important grapevine collection from disease, improving the resiliency of a major source of grapevines planted in the United States.

Russell Field Sports Lighting

In order to support growing Campus Recreation programs and their participants, lighting has been added to Russell Field to expand the time the field space can be used.

University Airport - Runway Improvements

The runway at the University Airport, the only campus airport in the UC system, received significant improvements, in line with Federal Aviation Administration standards.

VMTH Satellite Specialty Services Center

Renovate approximately 6,600 square feet of Med Sci 1B (the old Scrubs space), now vacant, to include three additional VMTH operating rooms to provide additional capacity for orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.
