About this project

To facilitate the Orchard Park Housing Redevelopment, a part of the most ambitious housing expansion the university has undertaken, UC Davis is upsizing and improving infrastructure in and around Orchard Park district. This effort includes narrowing and restoring the surface of Blue Ridge Road and adding new sidewalks, on-street bike lanes and pedestrian lighting. There will also be repairs made to the road surface and lighting added along Orchard Park Drive. The new Orchard Park housing development will be connected to utilities and the campus electricity grid, providing reliable service to residents. These changes will make the Orchard Park district more bikeable and pedestrian friendly, ensuring Orchard Park residents are can easily take part in and contribute to our vibrant campus community.
