About this Project
This project marks another milestone in UC Davis’s ongoing efforts to expand student housing, contributing to the 6,500 new beds added since 2017 and supporting our campus's commitment to providing on-campus housing for 48% of Davis-based students. (Learn more: Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Davis.)
Strategically located between Primero Grove and the Regan complex, the new residence hall will accommodate approximately 400-600 students and include innovative spaces designed to enhance access to virtual mental health and counseling services. The entire project will be 100% electric and will aim for a minimum LEED Gold certification, with a goal of obtaining LEED Platinum.
Winter 2025 Update
To make way for construction, Parking Lots 16 and 22 will close effective February 1. Transportation Services asks our community to please consider these nearby alternate parking locations:
- Lot 14 – Designated for employees only until 5 p.m.
- Lot 25 – Open to students, employees, visitors.
- Quad Structure – Open to students, employees, visitors.
