About this Project
After decades of being exposed to rain, moisture and wind-blown fog, the Bodega Marine Laboratory (BML) North Wing is undergoing exterior and interior repairs. Originally built in 1977, the North Wing houses offices, research labs and wet labs that facilitate BML’s impactful coastal research. The repairs include replacing corroded portions of the exterior wall, installing new floors along the perimeter of the building, painting some impacted offices and putting in new cabinets and sinks. The project also includes improvements to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
