About this Project
The UC Davis Veterinary Medicine California Animal Health and Food Safety Lab in Tulare, California plays an important role in supporting the health of California livestock, and safeguarding human health against animal disease. To ensure the lab can continue its essential work, UC Davis and the California Department of Food and Agriculture are repairing flood damage sustained in March 2023. The repairs include replacing damaged building systems, restoring exteriors, and redesigning the lab’s dock to mitigate future flooding.
