About this Project
Young Hall in undergoing a multi-pronged modernization, including HVAC updates, classroom conversions, interior and exterior renovations, and security improvements.
- HVAC updates: The heating, ventilation, and airconditioning system in the north wing of Young Hall will be updated to improve heating/cooling capabilities.
- GAC Conversion (room 138): A space demolitioned in the course of seismic improvments is being converted to a general assignment classroom that can seat approximately 70 students.
- Courtyard Renovation: Improvments will be made to the landscaping and pathways in the Young Hall courtyard.
- Security Improvements: Access control, intrusion alarm and survelliance camera systems will be installed. Cameras will monitor entrances, exits and lobby areas.
