About this Project

The Solano Park student housing development was originally built in 1962. As of September 2023, the students living here relocated to other on-campus housing, including the newly developed Orchard Park. While no new projects are currently proposed for this location, the 35 unoccupied buildings on site currently pose safety and security risks, requiring removal. Throughout the demolition project, measures will be in place to ensure the protection of the site, conservation and care of the mature trees, proper waste and recycling disposal, and compliance with other environmental mitigation measures.
