About this Project
UC Davis Design and Construction Management is improving the ARC Parking Lot (Lot 25) to create a smoother, clearer and more predictable experience for people no matter their preferred mode of transportation. The project will reconfigure the area around the ARC, Orchard Road, La Rue Road, Blue Ridge Road and the Sprocket Bikeway to better separate travel paths and improve circulation.
Planned upgrades include a redesigned entrance, a separated bike lane, a dedicated pedestrian sidewalk, new crossings, updates to the existing bike roundabout, additional bike parking near the ARC, new pedestrian lighting, landscaping, irrigation, paving and striping. To complete the work, Lot 25 will be closed to the public from June 15 through Sept. 11, 2026, with drivers encouraged to use the Pavilion Parking Structure during the closure.
