About this Project
To meet campus growth projections and improve the resiliency of the campus water supply, a new domestic water treatment plant will be constructed to treat surface water from Lake Berryessa—which climate science predicts will be a more long-term, reliable water source than other sources UC Davis has access to. This new water source will further diversify the campus domestic water supply, providing a more reliable and higher quality water when combined with the existing groundwater and treated surface water supplies.
