About this Project
To enhance campus safety for all community members and visitors, UC Davis is upgrading security infrastructure with additional cameras, emergency call boxes, and outdoor lighting. Seven new emergency call boxes—providing instant connection to 911 dispatchers—will be installed on the Vet Med campus and along bike paths. Additionally, 11 new security cameras will be placed in key locations, including intersections along La Rue Road, Hutchison Drive, Old Davis Road, and near select Egghead sculptures. Lastly, seven areas will receive new groups of outdoor lights along pedestrian pathways to improve visibility and safety.
