About this Project

The Veterinary Education Pavilion and Primary Care Hospital is a major expansion at the UC Davis Weill School of Veterinary Medicine designed to support a growing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine cohort and expand access to high-quality primary care for our region and beyond.
This new facility will:
- Increase DVM class capacity from 150 to 200 students,
- Deliver a state-of-the-art Education Pavilion featuring a flexible learning environment that supports full-cohort or half-cohort instruction, with the ability to subdivide for multiple teaching configurations and to host campus events.
- Expand primary care services through a fear-free, client-friendly hospital with exam rooms, operating and dentistry suites, and more.
- Create a welcoming, sustainably designed indoor-outdoor space that embodies the school’s commitment to environmental health and wellness
As part of the broader Veterinary Medical Complex expansion, this project strengthens UC Davis’ leadership in veterinary education and patient care.
