Contracts:
As the name suggests, the contracts team's primary responsibilities includes drafting, preparing, and executing contracts that support of the university's construction and consulting needs. They ensure every agreement meets the specific needs of each project while adhering to the legal and regulatory requirements that safeguard the university's interests. By managing contracts efficiently, this team contributes to the university's construction and development goals by helping facilitate project initiation and progression.
Records Management:
The Records Management team plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of campus construction projects. Working in close collaboration with project management colleagues across DCM, this dedicated team ensures the seamless facilitation and administration of construction contracts from the commencement of the construction phase through to project completion. Their attention to detail and expertise in document management guarantee that all project records are accurately maintained, accessible, and compliant with university policies and regulatory requirements. By streamlining the records management process, this team not only supports the efficiency of ongoing projects but also preserves the integrity and accountability of the construction efforts at UC Davis.
