FacilitiesLink and Space Data

SMPD administers FacilitiesLink — the university’s campus space database. FacilitiesLink is used to manage and document information about the assignment, use, function and occupancy of rooms in buildings on and off campus. This data is used for daily operations and for planning, analysis and reporting.

Campus Space Allocation and Assignment Guidelines

Space is allocated to Deans, Vice Chancellors and Vice Provosts by the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor per campus Space Policy, PPM 360-21. Space may be further assigned to department chairs and others to manage appropriately to support the University’s mission and strategic goals. The following guidelines should be followed to ensure that space is used most efficiently and equitably throughout campus.

If you need assistance evaluating your allocated space or determining the best utilization of that space, please reach out to Space Management, [email protected].
