About this Project
To accommodate increased traffic as West Village continues to expand, the Hutchison Drive overpass over Highway 113 needed significant improvements, including the addition of a two-way bike path on the north side of Hutchison and signaled intersections for Highway 113 on-ramps and off-ramps. These improvements are aimed at creating sustainable commute options for vehicular, bike and pedestrian traffic.
This project is one part of transportation mitigation measures for West Village Expansion identified in 2018 Long Range Development Plan – Environmental Impact Report. Other measures include bike path improvements along portions of Russel Boulevard and Orchard Park Circle and roundabout improvements in West Village.
