Courtney is the Executive Director Capital Projects at Design and Construction Management.

The Capital Projects team consists of the Major Capital Project Management, Special Project Management and Cost & Schedule Controls groups who lead and manage a wide range of projects in support of the University’s strategic capital plan. This team of collaborative design and construction professionals is dedicated to stewardship of the University’s resources to create campus environments that support emerging research priorities, evolving models of education, and enhanced student life and learning experiences.

Courtney is a licensed architect in California with over 25 years of distinguished practice in architectural planning, design, and construction. Her career portfolio includes more than 2M square feet of new and renovated facilities across ten Northern California university campuses. Courtney joined the UC Davis team in late 2025 and is responsible for the delivery of new buildings and campus renovations. Her leadership spans the full lifecycle of project delivery—programming, design, procurement and construction. Courtney is a committed member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), holds a DBIA certified professional, and a LEED-AP. She is committed to delivering buildings that are not only functional and beautiful, but also sustainable and resilient – qualities that align with UC Davis’s mission for long-term impact.
