Register for DCM Town Hall April 29
UC Davis Design and Construction Management, or DCM, will host an in-person campus Town Hall on Wed., April 29, from 10 to 11 a.m., inviting faculty and staff to learn more about the current organization as well as how campus projects are planned, funded, and delivered—and how to engage with DCM for support.
In recent years, DCM has grown to include expanded responsibilities in campus planning and sustainability, while continuing to lead capital and space planning, design, construction, interiors, real estate and infrastructure projects across campus. The Town Hall will provide an overview of this work, including the planning and funding frameworks that guide project decisions and timelines.
“Much of DCM’s work has a direct impact on the spaces people use every day,” said Julie Nola, university architect. “This Town Hall is an opportunity to share how the process works and how we support campus priorities.”
AVC Nola, along with Kim Turner, executive director of integrated planning and design, will provide an overview of DCM’s services and highlight projects currently in construction and planning, including academic, residential, and infrastructure efforts related to transportation, climate, and long-term campus planning.
The session will also outline how campus units can request project support and connect with DCM and its partners. Time will be reserved for questions and discussion, with the goal of fostering ongoing dialogue.
“We see this as the beginning of more regular opportunities to connect, share updates and answer questions,” said Nola.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.
Registration for this event has reached maximum capacity and is now closed.
